- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange baguette slices on baking sheet and cut into heart shapes.
- Brush bread lightly with olive oil.
- Toast for 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
- In a bowl, combine tomatoes, red onion, basil, bacon, and garlic.
- Season with salt and black pepper and mix well.
- Spoon tomato mixture onto toasted bread hearts.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
Assemble just before serving to prevent soggy bread. Drain excess liquid from tomatoes for best texture.
