Simple Crispy Cotton Candy Strawberry Crunch Bombs That Broke the Internet

These cotton candy cheesecake bombs are a viral no-bake dessert made with creamy cotton candy cheesecake filling, crunchy strawberry cookie crumbs, and a sweet pink coating. Soft, fluffy, and full of nostalgic carnival flavor, they are the perfect party treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Golden Oreos or vanilla sandwich cookies
  • 1/2 cup cotton candy flavored sugar
  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream whipped to stiff peaks or 8 oz Cool Whip
  • Pink sprinkles or cotton candy sugar for coating

Method
 

  1. Place freeze-dried strawberries in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed.
  2. Add the Golden Oreos and pulse until fine crumbs form.
  3. Mix in the cotton candy sugar and pulse briefly to combine.
  4. Set aside about 2 cups of the crumb mixture for coating.
  5. In a mixing bowl beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  7. Fold in 1/2 cup of the strawberry cookie crumb mixture.
  8. Gently fold in the whipped cream or Cool Whip until light and fluffy.
  9. Refrigerate the filling for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
  10. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of filling and roll into balls.
  11. Roll each ball in the reserved strawberry cookie crumb mixture.
  12. Coat with pink sprinkles or extra cotton candy sugar if desired.
  13. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Chill the filling before rolling to make shaping easier. For extra color, add a drop of pink gel food coloring to the cookie crumb mixture.
