- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, minced garlic, chopped basil, shredded zucchini, shredded mozzarella cheese, and green pesto. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Form the mixture into small, bite-sized patties or meatballs (approximately 1.5 inches in diameter).
- Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat. Cook the turkey bites for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F / 74°C). Alternatively, bake on a lined baking sheet at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes.
- Serve immediately, perhaps with a side of steamed greens or a light salad for a complete low carb meal.
