  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 lbs potatoes peeled and chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, parsley, onion powder, and garlic powder; mix gently.
  3. Shape into 1.5-inch meatballs and bake 18–20 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  4. Boil potatoes in salted water 15–20 minutes until tender.
  5. Drain potatoes, add garlic, butter, and warm milk; mash until creamy and fold in parsley.
  6. Whisk flour over medium heat for 1 minute, slowly add broth, then add soy sauce and Dijon; simmer 5–7 minutes.
  7. Add meatballs to gravy and simmer 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.

For best results, avoid overmixing the meat mixture and ensure potatoes are generously seasoned.
