Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Red food coloring a few drops
  • Whipped cream for topping

Method
 

  1. Add the milk, heavy cream, white chocolate chips, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and vanilla extract to a saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the chocolates are fully melted and smooth.
  3. Reduce heat to low and add red food coloring, stirring until the desired color is achieved.
  4. Pour the hot chocolate into mugs.
  5. Top with whipped cream and optional garnishes.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy.
