- In a small bowl, mix coarse sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of cayenne pepper to create your cinnamon-sugar rim.
- Run a tangerine or orange slice around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip into the sugar mixture to coat evenly. Fill the glass with ice.
- In a cocktail shaker, add pomegranate juice, orange juice, tequila, and orange liqueur.
- Add honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and cayenne pepper. Shake to combine.
- Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until chilled and frosty.
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top with a splash of ginger beer if desired for a festive fizz.
- Garnish with a cinnamon stick, rosemary sprig, and optional pomegranate seeds for color.
Notes
