- Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and season generously.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling.
- Press each beef portion onto half of a tortilla, smashing it thin.
- Place tortilla beef-side down in skillet and cook 2-3 minutes until browned.
- Flip, add 1/4 cup cheese, and fold tortilla into a half-moon.
- Cook 1-2 minutes per side until crispy and melted.
- Slice and serve with pickles, onions, or burger sauce.
Notes
Smash beef very thin for crispy edges; cook one or two at a time to maintain skillet heat and avoid sogginess.
