Method
- Dissolve sugar in warm water, sprinkle yeast on top, and let bloom until foamy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add yeast mixture and butter to dry ingredients and mix into a dough.
- Knead dough until smooth and elastic.
- Fold soaked raisins evenly into the dough.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled.
- Shape dough into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–35 minutes until golden.
- Cool before slicing and serving.

Soaking the raisins helps keep the bread moist and prevents dryness.
