Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Whip the egg whites in a large bowl using a hand mixer or whisk until stiff peaks form (3-5 minutes).
- Gently sift the protein powder over the whipped egg whites and fold in carefully with a rubber spatula until fully incorporated and batter is smooth but airy.
- Add optional baking powder, salt, or sweetener if desired and fold gently.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden on top and springy to the touch.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
This bread is great for sandwiches or toasted with a topping of your choice. Feel free to experiment with different flavors of protein powder.
