Ingredients
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll pizza dough on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness.
- Cut dough into strips 2 inches wide and 8–10 inches long.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each strip, leaving clear borders.
- Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the strips.
- Lay pepperoni slices along one edge, with half of each slice extending beyond the dough.
- Roll each strip tightly to form rose shapes and pinch the bottoms to secure.
- Place roses on the baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown with crisp pepperoni petals.
Notes
Avoid adding too much sauce to prevent overflow during baking, and roll the strips firmly to maintain the rose shape while cooking.
