Ingredients
  

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella balls bocconcini
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Toothpicks

Method
 

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the cherry tomatoes.
  2. Drain and pat dry the mozzarella balls.
  3. If mozzarella balls are large, cut them in half.
  4. Thread a cherry tomato onto a toothpick.
  5. Add a folded basil leaf.
  6. Finish with a mozzarella ball.
  7. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  8. Arrange the bites on a serving platter.
  9. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.
  10. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
  11. Chill for 10–15 minutes before serving.
