Ingredients
  

  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup real mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Freshly ground black pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Mince garlic cloves finely and sprinkle with salt.
  2. Use the flat side of a knife to mash garlic into a paste.
  3. Add mayonnaise to a small bowl.
  4. Stir in garlic paste until well combined.
  5. Add olive oil and fresh lemon juice.
  6. Season with black pepper if desired.
  7. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 10–30 minutes before serving.
