Ingredients
  

  • 240 g Greek yogurt (plain, non-fat)
  • 180 g self-rising flour
  • 30 g protein powder (vanilla flavored recommended)
  • 30 g cinnamon
  • 30 g sugar (or sweetener alternative)
  • 120 g applesauce (unsweetened recommended)
  • 240 g frosting ingredients (combine your favorite ingredients)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Greek yogurt, self-rising flour, and protein powder. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. Lightly flour your work surface and knead the dough until it's smooth and elastic, just a couple of minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangular sheet about ¼-inch thick.
  5. Combine the cinnamon and sugar; brush the unsweetened applesauce over the dough, then sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mix.
  6. Tightly roll the dough from the long edge, then slice it into 8 equal pieces.
  7. Place the cinnamon rolls in the prepared baking dish, leaving space between them.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the rolls are lightly golden brown.
  9. While the rolls bake, mix your frosting ingredients until creamy and smooth.
  10. Once rolls have cooled slightly, drizzle the frosting generously over the top.
