Ingredients
  

  • 2 large lobster tails
  • ½ pound fresh scallops
  • 3 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat grill to high heat and pat lobster tails and scallops dry.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush garlic butter over lobster meat and place meat-side up on grill.
  4. Grill lobster tails for 8–10 minutes until opaque, basting halfway.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Sear scallops for 2 minutes per side until golden.
  7. Add remaining butter and garlic to skillet and toss scallops to coat.
  8. Remove from heat, garnish lobster and scallops with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Avoid overcooking lobster and scallops. Pat seafood dry before cooking for the best texture and sear.
