Ingredients
  

  • 200 grams white chocolate
  • 100 grams cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: orange sanding sugar
  • Optional: additional melted white chocolate for dipping

Method
 

  1. Melt white chocolate gently using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, orange zest, orange extract, vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and salt until smooth.
  3. Allow melted white chocolate to cool slightly, then mix into cream cheese mixture until fully combined.
  4. Chill mixture for 60 minutes until firm enough to roll.
  5. Scoop and roll mixture into uniform truffle balls.
  6. Roll in orange sanding sugar or dip in melted white chocolate if desired.
  7. Chill truffles for an additional 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Do not overheat white chocolate or it may seize. Allow truffles to sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes before serving for best texture.
