  • ¾ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup Valentine sprinkles pink, red, white
  • Heart-shaped candies or conversation hearts
  • Melted white or dark chocolate for drizzling optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold in white chocolate chips and half the sprinkles.
  6. Chill dough for 30 minutes to help maintain heart shape.
  7. Roll dough to ¼-inch thickness and cut using heart-shaped cookie cutters.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool completely, then decorate with remaining sprinkles, candies, and chocolate drizzle.
