Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 pound kielbasa sausage sliced
  • 1 sweet potato peeled and cubed
  • 4 small Yukon Gold potatoes quartered
  • 1 head broccoli cut into florets
  • 1 small red onion sliced
  • 1-2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • Black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare two baking sheets with parchment paper or oil.
  2. Whisk together olive oil, honey, brown sugar, garlic, salt, mustard, basil, and oregano; reserve 1–2 tablespoons.
  3. Spread sweet potatoes and Yukon potatoes on sheet pan, season with salt and pepper, and coat lightly with oil.
  4. Add sliced kielbasa to pan and brush generously with honey garlic sauce.
  5. Bake 20 minutes until potatoes are partially tender and kielbasa is browned.
  6. Add broccoli florets and red onion; return to oven for 5–10 more minutes.
  7. Drizzle reserved sauce over the dish before serving and garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the pan for proper caramelization. Reserve sauce for finishing—this brightens flavor and adds depth.
