Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough 8 biscuits each
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder for topping
  • Lean turkey or plant-based ground as substitutes
  • Low-fat cheese or chorizo mix for flavor variations

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare ingredients. Separate biscuit dough.
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet for 5–7 minutes with salt and pepper; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in 2 tsp garlic powder and half the cheddar until melted; cool slightly.
  4. Flatten biscuits into 4–5 inch circles and add 1 tbsp beef mixture plus 1 tbsp cheese; seal tightly.
  5. Place seam-side down on parchment-lined baking sheet and bake 15–20 minutes until golden.
  6. Mix melted butter, Parmesan, and 1 tsp garlic powder; brush over warm bombs.
