Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails 5–6 oz each, fresh or thawed
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
Substitution Options:
  • Use 1 tsp garlic powder instead of fresh garlic
  • Replace fresh parsley with 1 tsp dried
  • Old Bay seasoning can replace paprika
  • Use compound herb butter for added flavor

Method

  1. Preheat oven to broil on high and position rack 5–6 inches from the heat source.
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut along the top shell of each lobster tail and lift the meat through the opening to rest on top for presentation.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, and parsley.
  4. Brush the mixture generously over lobster meat, then season lightly with salt and pepper.
  5. Place tails on a rimmed baking sheet and broil for 6–10 minutes, until meat is opaque and shells are bright red.
  6. Remove from oven, drizzle with remaining garlic butter, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For the best results, avoid overcooking lobster. The internal temperature should reach 140°F and appear opaque. Serve immediately for peak tenderness and flavor.
