  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
  • American cheese slices or bacon for variations

Method

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F and roll pizza dough into a 12×18 inch rectangle.
  3. Spread cheddar cheese over dough, leaving a 1-inch border; add cooled beef and top with mozzarella.
  4. Roll tightly from the long side and pinch seam to seal; transfer to baking sheet.
  5. Brush melted butter over top for garlic butter crust.
  6. Bake 13–15 minutes at 425°F until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Cool 3–4 minutes, then slice into 1–2 inch portions and serve warm.

Notes

Allow ground beef to cool slightly before assembling to prevent melting the cheese too early and to ensure easy rolling and sealing.
