Ingredients

Aromatic Spices:
  • 3 cinnamon sticks or 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 5 whole allspice berries or ¼ tsp ground allspice
  • 3 whole cloves or ⅛ tsp ground cloves
Juices and Cider:
  • 3 cups apple cider or apple juice
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • cups pomegranate juice
  • cups pineapple juice
Soda and Garnishes:
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda or ginger ale
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries

Method

  1. Combine Base Ingredients: In a 4-quart punch bowl, add cinnamon sticks, allspice berries, and cloves. Pour in apple cider, cranberry, orange, pomegranate, and pineapple juices. Stir gently.
  2. Infuse Flavors: Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow spices to release aromatic oils. For stronger flavor, chill up to 2 hours.
  3. Add Soda and Garnish: Just before serving, add lemon-lime soda, orange slices, and cranberries. Stir gently.
  4. Serve Over Ice: Ladle into glasses filled with ice. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or orange slice if desired.

Notes

Yields 14-16 servings. For best results, chill all ingredients before mixing. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze juice base (without soda) for up to 3 months. Add fresh soda before serving to restore fizz.
Tip: For a festive touch, rim glasses with cinnamon sugar or add an ice ring with frozen cranberries and orange slices.
