Method
- Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries.
- Slice strawberries in half lengthwise.
- Scoop a small cavity into the cut side of each strawberry.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Transfer filling to a piping bag or plastic bag with the corner cut off.
- Pipe filling into each strawberry cavity.
- Top with crushed graham crackers and optional toppings.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Use large, firm strawberries for best results. Add toppings just before serving to maintain texture and appearance.
