Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest optional
  • Crushed graham crackers
  • Mini chocolate chips or sprinkles optional

Method
 

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the strawberries.
  2. Slice strawberries in half lengthwise.
  3. Scoop a small cavity into the cut side of each strawberry.
  4. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest until smooth.
  5. Transfer filling to a piping bag or plastic bag with the corner cut off.
  6. Pipe filling into each strawberry cavity.
  7. Top with crushed graham crackers and optional toppings.
  8. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

Use large, firm strawberries for best results. Add toppings just before serving to maintain texture and appearance.
