Ingredients
  

  • 4 fresh croissants sliced lengthwise
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes sliced (optional)
  • Extra Parmesan shavings for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Add the cooked chicken to a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour in the Caesar dressing and mix until coated.
  3. Add Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Mix well until fully combined.
  5. Slice the croissants in half horizontally.
  6. Layer chopped romaine lettuce on the bottom half of each croissant.
  7. Spoon the Caesar chicken mixture evenly over the lettuce.
  8. Add sliced cherry tomatoes if using.
  9. Top with the remaining croissant halves.
  10. Garnish with extra Parmesan and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Assemble just before serving to keep the croissants flaky and prevent sogginess.
