Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups broccoli florets finely chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for baking

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Steam broccoli for 2–3 minutes until tender, then drain and finely chop.
  3. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix thoroughly until the mixture holds together.
  5. Scoop mixture and roll into small balls.
  6. Place balls on prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  7. Lightly spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Drain broccoli well to prevent excess moisture and ensure the balls hold their shape while baking.
