  • 120 ml Milk Use whole milk for richer taste

  • 360 g Powdered Sugar Acts as a sweetener and thickening agent
  • 300 g Chopped Gumdrops Substitute with candied cherries for a twist
  • 150 g Nuts Optional for a crunchy texture

Method
 

  1. Line a 9x9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add mini marshmallows and milk, stirring until smooth, about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add powdered sugar while stirring until thick and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in chopped gumdrops and nuts.
  6. Pour mixture into prepared pan, pressing it evenly. Cool for at least 2 hours.
  7. Once set, lift nougat out of the pan, cut into squares, and store in an airtight container.
