Method
 

  1. Prepare your 8-inch square baking dish by lining it with parchment or foil. Leave an overhang for easy lifting later.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter together in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  3. Mix in your optional add-ins like chopped nuts once the mixture is off the heat.
  4. Pour the luscious chocolate mixture into your prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Chill the fudge in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or until it’s completely firm to the touch.
