Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp cinnamon for the topping.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla; blend until creamy.
- Spray a 9×13" baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture on the bottom.
- Roll out one can of dough on waxed paper and press into the bottom of the pan over the cinnamon sugar.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on top of the dough.
- Roll out the second can of dough and place it over the cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on top and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
These bars are best served warm, and can be enjoyed with a scoop of ice cream for an extra treat!
