Ingredients
  

  • 2 beef steaks ribeye or sirloin, room temperature
  • 10 –12 large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • cups heavy cream
  • cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • Lemon wedges for serving optional

Method
 

  1. Pat steaks dry and season generously with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, then remove and rest.
  4. Add remaining butter to the skillet and cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  5. Remove shrimp and reduce heat to medium.
  6. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine pan drippings.
  8. Simmer gently, then whisk in Parmesan cheese and parsley.
  9. Return shrimp to the sauce and coat evenly.
  10. Serve shrimp and creamy garlic sauce over steaks and garnish with lemon wedges.

Notes

Allow steaks to rest before serving and avoid boiling the sauce to prevent curdling.
