Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium yellow onion quartered
  • 1 cup fresh parsley washed and dried
  • 600 g lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon seven-spice blend
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Method
 

  1. Add the onion and parsley to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl.
  3. Add the ground beef, salt, black pepper, seven-spice, and cayenne.
  4. Mix well by hand until fully combined.
  5. Shape the mixture around skewers, about 1 to 1.5 inches thick.
  6. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  7. Lightly oil the grill grates.
  8. Grill the kebabs for about 4 minutes per side.
  9. Cook until evenly browned and fully cooked through.

Notes

Do not overmix the meat to keep the kebabs tender. You can cook them on a grill, under the broiler, or in a pan.
