Ingredients
  

  • 1 box yellow cake mix 13.25 oz
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1 lb white almond bark
  • 1/2 cup red candy melts
  • Green sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and melt the butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine cake mix, eggs, egg yolk, milk, and melted butter until just combined.
  3. Pipe or spoon batter into a mini donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
  4. Bake for 12 minutes or until donuts are cooked through.
  5. Allow donuts to cool completely.
  6. Melt almond bark in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  7. Dip the tops of donuts into melted almond bark and place on parchment paper.
  8. Immediately sprinkle with green sprinkles.
  9. Melt red candy melts and drizzle over donuts.
  10. Allow coating to set completely before serving.

Notes

Let donuts cool completely before dipping to prevent coating from melting. Use a silicone mini donut pan for easy removal.
