  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons paprika divided
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning divided
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons kosher salt divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to broil and place the rack in the upper third.
  2. Cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise using kitchen shears.
  3. Gently lift the lobster meat out while keeping it attached at the base.
  4. Place lobster tails meat-side up on a baking sheet.
  5. In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, paprika, Old Bay, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Reserve a small amount of the butter mixture for serving.
  7. Brush the remaining garlic butter generously over the lobster meat.
  8. Optionally sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, and extra seasoning.

  10. Spoon reserved garlic butter over the lobster and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

Watch closely while broiling to avoid overcooking, as lobster cooks very quickly.
