Method
- Add the shredded cabbage and carrots to a large mixing bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey or sugar, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture.
- Toss well until all vegetables are evenly coated.
- Let the coleslaw rest for 10 to 15 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
- Stir once more before serving.
Notes
For best texture, use fresh cabbage. Adjust sweetness or vinegar to taste before serving.
