  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt; add warm milk, melted butter, and egg to form dough.
  2. Knead 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Let rise 1 hour in a warm place until doubled.
  4. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  5. Roll dough into a 9×15-inch rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle cinnamon sugar.
  6. Roll tightly from the short end and seal seam.
  7. Place in pan, cover, and rise 30 minutes.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes until golden and hollow-sounding.
  9. Cool, then whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to glaze.
