- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, pickle relish, mustard, vinegar, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder until smooth. Set aside.
- Divide ground beef into 4 portions and press a thin layer of beef onto each tortilla.
- Season beef with salt and black pepper.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat until hot.
- Place tortilla beef-side down and press firmly with a spatula to smash.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until beef is crispy and caramelized.
- Flip, top with American cheese, and cook until cheese melts and tortilla is lightly toasted.
- Remove from heat and top with Big Mac sauce, shredded lettuce, diced onion, and pickle slices.
- Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
Use flour tortillas for best results, as corn tortillas do not hold the smash burger as well. Have all toppings ready before cooking since these cook very quickly.
