Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillets skin removed and cubed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime juice

Method

  1. Cut salmon into 1-inch cubes and place in a bowl.
  2. Toss salmon with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook salmon in a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until golden, or bake at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, or air fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice.
  5. Toss cooked salmon bites with the bang bang sauce or drizzle sauce over the top.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. Air frying produces the crispiest results.
