Ingredients
  

  • 2 pieces large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 100 g Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 240 ml marinara sauce
  • 100 g shredded mozzarella cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) while you prepare the chicken.
  2. Slice each breast in half horizontally or use a mallet to pound to an even ½-inch thickness.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken, coating both sides.
  5. Press each piece of chicken into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring a full, even coating.
  6. Arrange the breaded chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Spoon marinara sauce over each cutlet and top with shredded mozzarella.
  8. Return the chicken to the air fryer for 3–5 more minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let rest for a couple of minutes, then serve hot with pasta, salad, or steamed veggies.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding fresh basil or oregano on top before serving.
