Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened, at room temperature for easier blending into a smooth mixture.
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter Choose your favorite smooth peanut butter for the best flavor and texture.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Also known as confectioners' sugar; sift if lumpy for a smoother dough consistency.

Equipment

  • Medium Mixing Bowl
  • Hand Mixer or Sturdy Spatula
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper or Wax Paper
  • Small Cookie Scoop

Method

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and creamy peanut butter. Use a hand mixer or a sturdy spatula to blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add the powdered sugar to the cream cheese and peanut butter mixture, stirring well after each addition. Continue mixing until the dough is thick and holds together. If the mixture feels too sticky, add a little more powdered sugar, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
  3. Scoop out small portions of the dough and roll them into approximately 1-inch balls using your hands or a small cookie scoop. Place the formed balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or wax paper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
