Ingredients
-
1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (or use frozen spinach, thawed and drained)
-
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
-
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder
-
1 teaspoon onion powder
-
¼ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
-
¼ teaspoon pepper (adjust to taste)
-
1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the baking sheet)
Instructions
-
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). -
Prepare the Spinach:
If using fresh spinach, wash and chop it finely. If using frozen spinach, make sure it’s thawed and well-drained. -
Mix the Cheeses:
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, and softened cream cheese. Stir until everything is well-blended into a thick, creamy mixture. -
Add Spinach and Seasoning:
Add the chopped spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the cheese mixture. Stir until the spinach and spices are evenly incorporated. -
Form the Crisps:
Using a spoon, scoop small portions of the cheese mixture and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten each scoop into a round shape, about 2 inches in diameter. -
Bake the Crisps:
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crisps turn golden brown and crispy around the edges. -
Cool and Serve:
Let the crisps cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
-
If you prefer a spicier version, try adding red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper to the mixture.
-
For a gluten-free option, ensure your baking sheet is lined with parchment paper, and avoid using any flour-based ingredients.
-
You can prepare the mixture ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 24 hours before baking.
