A quick and delicious seafood dish featuring tender shrimp baked with a rich garlic-butter sauce and a crispy Parmesan-panko topping. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.
Ingredients
1 lb jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
1 tbsp lemon juice
3 cloves garlic (minced)
3/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In a 9×13-inch baking dish, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add white wine (or chicken broth), minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
Bake for 10 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
Add the shrimp, coating them well with the sauce.
In a separate bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the shrimp.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for 12 minutes until shrimp are opaque and the topping is golden brown.
Broil for 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness if desired.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Substitute white wine with chicken broth if preferred.
Add smoked paprika or Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
Try cherry tomatoes or fresh spinach for added nutrition and color.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
