Description
Snow cream is a fun, easy-to-make winter treat using fresh snow, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla. It’s a customizable dessert that’s perfect for snowy days, and it can be adjusted to suit various dietary preferences.
Ingredients
Fresh snow (about 8 cups of snow)
Sweetened condensed milk (1 can, 14 oz)
Vanilla extract (1 tsp)
Sugar (Optional, 2-3 tbsp depending on desired sweetness)
Salt (A pinch, optional)
Instructions
Gather Fresh Snow: Collect about 8 cups of clean, fresh snow from a safe, unpolluted area.
Mix Liquid Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and sugar (if using). Stir until smooth.
Add Snow: Gradually add the fresh snow to the mixture. Stir gently until the snow cream reaches your desired consistency.
Serve and Enjoy: Spoon the snow cream into bowls and serve immediately. Optionally, garnish with chocolate chips, berries, or crushed nuts.
Notes
If using non-dairy options, substitute the sweetened condensed milk with coconut milk or almond milk and add coconut cream for richness.
Snow cream is best eaten fresh but can be stored in the freezer for up to 24 hours.
