Description

Snow cream is a fun, easy-to-make winter treat using fresh snow, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla. It’s a customizable dessert that’s perfect for snowy days, and it can be adjusted to suit various dietary preferences.

Ingredients

  • Fresh snow (about 8 cups of snow)

  • Sweetened condensed milk (1 can, 14 oz)

  • Vanilla extract (1 tsp)

  • Sugar (Optional, 2-3 tbsp depending on desired sweetness)

  • Salt (A pinch, optional)

Instructions

  • Gather Fresh Snow: Collect about 8 cups of clean, fresh snow from a safe, unpolluted area.

  • Mix Liquid Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and sugar (if using). Stir until smooth.

  • Add Snow: Gradually add the fresh snow to the mixture. Stir gently until the snow cream reaches your desired consistency.

  • Serve and Enjoy: Spoon the snow cream into bowls and serve immediately. Optionally, garnish with chocolate chips, berries, or crushed nuts.

Notes

  • If using non-dairy options, substitute the sweetened condensed milk with coconut milk or almond milk and add coconut cream for richness.

  • Snow cream is best eaten fresh but can be stored in the freezer for up to 24 hours.
