Ingredients
4 swordfish fillets (6 oz each)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon paprika (or smoked paprika)
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and black pepper (to taste)
Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Swordfish: Pat the swordfish fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Season the Fish: In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Drizzle this mixture over the swordfish fillets, ensuring each fillet is evenly coated.
Bake the Swordfish: Bake the swordfish fillets for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish and Serve: Garnish the baked swordfish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
For a healthier option, swap olive oil for avocado oil.
Feel free to substitute fresh herbs like rosemary or basil for oregano and thyme.
Swordfish can be served with roasted vegetables or a light salad for a balanced meal.
