- 6 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican-blend cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup diced green onions
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
- Sour cream for serving (optional)
- Salsa for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add ground beef, break apart with a spoon, and cook until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Add ¼ cup water if needed and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Warm tortillas using microwave (between damp paper towels), skillet, or oven until soft and pliable.
- Assemble each wrap with ¼ cup beef mixture, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, and optional avocado slices.
- Fold tortilla: bottom up, sides in, and roll tightly. Serve with sour cream and salsa.
