Description

A potent, immune-supporting tonic combining raw apple cider vinegar with citrus, roots, peppers, garlic, and spices, infused over 28 days for maximum wellness benefits.


Ingredients

  • 2 organic oranges, quartered (with peel)
  • 2 organic lemons, quartered (with peel)
  • 2 red onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 white onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 jalapeño peppers, sliced with seeds
  • 7 oz fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced
  • 2 oz fresh turmeric root, peeled and sliced
  • 7 oz fresh horseradish root, peeled and sliced
  • 2 heads garlic, crushed
  • 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 34 Ceylon cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole star anise
  • 4 whole rose hips
  • 2 bottles (32 oz each) raw apple cider vinegar with the mother
  • 23 tbsp raw local honey

Instructions

  1. Quarter oranges and lemons, keeping peels on.
  2. Thinly slice red and white onions.
  3. Slice jalapeños into discs, keeping seeds.
  4. Peel and slice ginger, turmeric, and horseradish into thin discs.
  5. Layer ingredients in a clean glass jar, placing aromatics and honey in the middle layer.
  6. Add citrus pieces on top.
  7. Pour raw apple cider vinegar over ingredients until fully covered.
  8. Seal with parchment under lid, store in a cool dark place for 28 days, shaking daily.
  9. After infusion, strain solids and stir in honey.
  10. Bottle in dark glass containers and refrigerate or store in a cool dark location.

Notes

Always use raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar. Keep ingredients fully submerged to prevent mold. Shake daily during infusion. Add honey after straining to avoid fermentation. Store in dark glass bottles for up to 12 months refrigerated.
