Description
A festive homemade jam that combines sweet strawberries, tart cranberries, and warm holiday spices into a luxurious spread perfect for gifting, glazing, or enjoying by the spoonful.
Ingredients

- 6 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 5 cups granulated sugar
- 2 sachets liquid fruit pectin (170ml each)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- Puree strawberries and cranberries in a food processor until chunky. Transfer to large saucepan.
- Add sugar, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and cloves to the fruit mixture and stir well.
- Bring mixture to a full rolling boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat, stir in liquid pectin, then return to a boil. Boil for another 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Skim off foam, then ladle hot jam into sterilized jars, leaving ¼ inch headspace. Wipe rims and apply sterilized lids.
- Process jars in boiling water for 10 minutes. Cool undisturbed for 12 hours before checking seals and labeling.
Notes
Makes approximately 10 half-pint jars. Store in cool, dark place for up to 1 year. Refrigerate after opening and consume within 3–4 weeks.
