A creamy, indulgent 30-minute Garlic Parmesan Tortellini loaded with cheese tortellini, savory Italian sausage, fresh broccoli, and a rich garlic parmesan cream sauce.

- 1 (20-ounce) package cheese tortellini
- 1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Optional substitutions: half-and-half, turkey sausage, gluten-free tortellini
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook Italian sausage for 6–8 minutes, breaking it into crumbles until browned. Transfer to a plate.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Cook tortellini in boiling salted water according to package directions. Add broccoli during the last 2–3 minutes.
- Drain tortellini and broccoli, then add to the skillet along with cooked sausage. Toss to coat in the sauce.
- Serve immediately with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
Avoid overcooking garlic to prevent bitterness. Add Parmesan gradually to keep the sauce smooth.
