Description

Shut Yo Mouth Sauce is a creamy, tangy, spicy homemade dipping sauce inspired by hibachi-style flavors. Easy to make and packed with umami, this bold condiment instantly upgrades grilled meats, fries, rice bowls, and veggies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt) with honey until smooth.
  2. Add apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  3. Stir in smoked paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add hot sauce and adjust heat to taste.
  5. Blend or whisk vigorously until smooth and creamy.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve chilled as a dip, drizzle, or marinade.

Notes

Chilling the sauce enhances flavor. Adjust spice and sweetness to suit your taste. Greek yogurt creates a lighter version.
