2 cups cherry tomatoes, diced

4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 clove garlic, minced

Black pepper to taste
Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange baguette slices on baking sheet and cut into heart shapes.
Brush bread lightly with olive oil.
Toast for 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
In a bowl, combine tomatoes, red onion, basil, bacon, and garlic.
Season with salt and black pepper and mix well.
Spoon tomato mixture onto toasted bread hearts.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.

Notes

Assemble just before serving to prevent soggy bread. Drain excess liquid from tomatoes for best texture.
