This refreshing lemon balm drink supports weight loss naturally by improving sleep, reducing stress, and boosting metabolism.
Ingredients

- 2–3 tablespoons fresh lemon balm leaves (or 1–2 tablespoons dried)
- 2 cups filtered water
- 1–2 tablespoons raw honey
- 1 fresh lemon (juiced)
- 1 small piece fresh ginger (optional)
- Optional Substitutions:
- Stevia or monk fruit instead of honey
- Lime juice instead of lemon
- Coconut water instead of regular water
- Fresh mint leaves for added flavor
Instructions
- Gently wash the lemon balm leaves and bruise them lightly to release their essential oils.
- Bring 2 cups of filtered water to a boil (200-212°F).
- Place the lemon balm leaves in a teapot or heat-resistant container and pour in the boiling water.
- Cover and steep for 8-10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid, then add lemon juice and honey while still warm.
- Grate and stir in fresh ginger if using. Serve hot or refrigerate for a chilled version.
Notes
Consume 30 minutes before meals or 2 hours before bedtime for best results. Store leftovers in a sealed glass container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
