Scale

- 6 wooden sticks or skewers
- 12 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate
- 6 oz white chocolate
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or shortening
- 1 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
- Wash and completely dry the apples, then insert wooden sticks into the tops.
- Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil in 30-second microwave intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each apple into the melted dark chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Place apples on parchment paper and refrigerate for 15 minutes until set.
- Roll or sprinkle apples with crushed candy canes while chocolate is slightly tacky.
- Melt white chocolate until smooth.
- Drizzle white chocolate over the apples using a spoon or piping bag.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes until fully set before serving.
Notes
Make sure apples are completely dry before dipping to prevent the chocolate from seizing. Chill between layers for best results.
