A classic hot toddy made with whiskey, honey, lemon, and warm spices, perfect for cozy nights and soothing cold symptoms.
Ingredients

- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2–3 whole cloves
Instructions
- Boil the water using a kettle or saucepan.
- Pour the whiskey into a heatproof mug.
- Add the honey and fresh lemon juice, then stir until fully dissolved.
- Add the cinnamon stick and whole cloves.
- Pour the boiling water into the mug and stir gently.
- Let the drink steep for about 5 minutes.
- Remove spices if desired and serve hot.
Notes
Do not over-steep the spices to avoid bitterness. Adjust honey and lemon to taste.
